hotel atitlan
| With Brian (Nathan's Friend who had come to join us for a week) in tow we visited Lake Atitlan for a couple of days and stayed at the beautiful Hotel Atitlan just outside of Panajachel. Atitlan is definitely one of the most beautiful lakes in the world with amazing volcano views and a magical aura about it. After sipping on wonderful margaritas for a day, we took a boat tour around the lake, first visiting the most important indigenous town of Santiago Atitlan. The highlight was probably the indigenous culture and also Maximon, a fun Mayan god who drinks lots of Alcohol and smokes like crazy. More thumbnails ...
